Our multi-day guided mountain bike tours in the French Alps combine flowing alpine singletrack, fantastic hotels, delicious food and breathtaking landscapes for unforgettable adventures!
The French Alps really need no introduction: World-class singletrack riding set amongst Europe’s highest and most majestic mountains. We’ve been guiding tours through these epic landscapes since 2013 and are constantly finding new trails and exploring new areas, whilst continuing to return year after year to ride epic trails that we never tire of riding and sharing with others!
From classic point-to-point itineraries that promise unforgettable journey-style adventures, to centre-based trips where we can delve deeper into the wild backcountry networks of trails found in one region, there is a huge variety of riding and something to suit everyone in the Alps!
Trans Alp Epic:
Chamonix to Alpe d’Huez
With Chamonix lying directly north of Alpe d'Huez, the two iconic resorts are separated by nearly 300km of epic trails winding through the highest mountains in Europe. A true backcountry mountain biking adventure in the Alps like you’ve never imagined!

This 6 day adventure takes you deep into wild valleys and over high alpine passes on a true backcountry point-to-point journey between the two iconic towns.
It really does have everything we want from mountain biking in the alps: breath-taking scenery, remote mountain tracks, flowing woodland trails, technical riverside singletrack,and ancient mountain settlements.

Intermediate +/Advanced Ability: Very experienced in riding natural technical terrain in mountainous areas. Black graded trails should pose little or no problems for you.
Fitness Level: Good. Includes days of up to 8 hours riding.

Our Enduro version of the iconic Tour du Mont Blanc! Three countries, six days, a week of adventure and incredible mountain bike trails that you won’t ever forget. We avoid the classic route which is simply too busy with walkers, and instead venture further afield to explore unbelievable trails which are even better suited to bikes!

This is a true mountain bike adventure, passing through some of the Alps most stunning scenery. We’ll swap stories while sitting on mountain passes, and grin while we descend many kilometres of flowing, sweet singletrack into valleys far below.
Crossing through Switzerland, into Italy’s Aosta Valley, and back to France via the Tarantaise, Vanoise, and Beaufortain regions. An epic journey!

Our Hautes-Alpes Enduro Safari is a 6 day trip, combining what we think is the best way to experience the riding in the Hautes-Alpes area. Part journey-style venturing into the Queyras regional area, part based in the quaint and beautiful mountain town of La Grave

You’ll sample the best of the Hautes-Alpes in a six-day safari-style adventure, hopping between scenic valleys, cosy hotels, and an impressive mix of trails.
Expect everything from iconic high-alpine descents near La Grave to flowy balcony singletrack around Serre-Chevalier, and epic trails in the wild region of the Queyras, all with minimal faff thanks to shuttles and solid local knowledge.

You’ll need to be an advanced and experienced rider, used to riding natural mountainous trails with confidence.
A very good level of endurance fitness is essential for you to enjoy these trips.

The trip differs from our other holidays in that we stay in one central location for the whole week, allowing us a comfortable base to travel from each day, and giving access to more of this wild and unspoilt area that is a haven for natural singletrack mountain biking.

Once you’ve ridden here most people seem to fall under it’s spell! There is something special about the wild unspoilt nature of the scenery and the unrivalled quality, and sheer number of incredible trails, all of which seem so perfectly suited for bikes.
Long flowing descents from majestic peaks and passes, larch-lined singletrack and loamy switchbacks, rocky balcony trails where you are more likely to see ibex than other people….the variety of endless trails here is huge!

Intermediate +/Advanced, used to riding natural mountainous trails with confidence. You should ideally have had some previous experience of riding technical singletrack in the Alps, or at least high mountain technical trails in areas of Scotland like Torridon or the Cairngorms, steep natural Tweed Valley singletrack, or in the Lake District, trails such as those on Helvellyn, Nan Bield pass, or the Four passes route
