In an age where we are becoming more informed and more aware of our human impact on the planet, we know that our time to act is now. There is no planet B, and as lovers of the outdoors, and of the wild and beautiful environments which we use as our playgrounds, we, and no doubt many of our guests, care deeply about protecting and conserving these special places, and ensuring we, and future generations can continue to enjoy the many benefits that spending time in them brings.
We are not perfect, we do not claim to be, and we know we will not completely eradicate our environmental footprint. But on a personal and corporate level we are committing to try and reduce our impact, because we believe all changes, no matter how big or small, are important.
We’ve added an Environmental policy page to our website, and we hope that our guests this year will join us in supporting the small changes we’ve made to how we do things. We have no intention of getting all preachy about it…as we said, we are a long way from being perfect and in no place to comment or criticise what others are or are not doing.
